The national hydrocarbons company, SONATRACH, intends to implement an investment plan of 40 billion dollars over five (05) years, of which 51% in Dinars, in particular through the start of production and the ramp-up of several deposits, SONATRACH CEO Toufik Hakkar said Thursday in a New Year message.

Sirte Oil and Gas Production and Processing Company today, December 17, 2020, achieved new and unprecedented crude oil production which exceeded 100,000 barrels per day comparing with an average rate of 55,000 BOPD , an increase that exceeded its production by nearly double before the oil blockade at the beginning of this year.

The national hydrocarbons company SONATRACH has managed to keep the pandemic threat (Covid-19) at a low level within the company, thanks to the application of several measures, said its CEO, Toufik Hakkar , urging the various officials to maintain a high level of vigilance to protect workers and the production tool.

National Oil Corporation (NOC) chairman, Eng. Mustafa Sanalla, met at NOC headquarters in Tripoli today, Monday, August 17, 2020 with the German Foreign Minister, Mr Heiko Maas, in the presence of the members of the Board of Directors Abulgasem Shengheer and Elamari Mohamed Elamari and a number of NOC senior staff, to discuss joint relations, illegal blockades on oil facilities and Germany’s efforts to solve the Libyan crisis.
