The Workers’ Party has attacked the oligarchy and owners of public property, accusing them of driving a campaign against Prime Minister Abdelmajid Tabboun.
Despite claiming to be pleased with the positive steps that had been taken by industry, tourism and public works ministers to improve the national economy, the Labor Party will likely echo the opinion of the prime minister concerning the returning of property of local officials and funds to all sectors in this time of economic crisis.
Additionally, the Worker’s Party feels that Tabboun’s decisions were due to what they called the “abhorrent media and political onslaught” against those who attack the public monarchy.
