The Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC) recently hosted a professional development week in which it sought to train over 15,000 teachers and principals from schools all over the nation.
Hussain Al Hammadi, Ali Al Nuaimi and other leaders from ADEC gave presentations outlining the unified national education system and explaining how the system would create better educational results.
The development week is a way for teachers and principals in Abu Dhabi to be on the same page and provide consistent education to their students. Topics from this year’s event included vision, school readiness, mission and school objectives, and increased achievement.
The standards outlined by the Ministry of Education were covered at the training, which covered areas including Arabic, English, social studies, science, math, art, music, and P.E.
