Sonatrach issued the following announcement on June 29.
The national oil company SONATRACH announced Monday the signing of the provisional acceptance of the Touat gas project, “a major milestone” for SONATRACH’s partners, namely Neptune Energy and the project manager “Tecnicas Reunidas”.
This project, located in the wilaya of Adrar, consists of “the drilling of 18 gas producing wells, the construction of a gas treatment plant with a treatment capacity of 14.3 million m3 / day, a network for collecting and shipping sales gas to the GR5, as well as roads and a base for living, ”said a press release from the public company.
According to the same source, “this last step marks the takeover of operations by SONATRACH and its partner Neptune Energy for the operation of this gas treatment plant”, we added.
The Touat gaz Group, which operates on behalf of the two partners SONATRACH and Neptune Energy, has completed this important work, which began to export sales gas in September 2019.
This work currently produces 12.8 million m3 / day of sales gas, that is 4.5 billion m3 / year and 1,800 barrels / day of stabilized condensate, specifies the same source. (APS)
