Barid Al-Maghrib Issues Commemorative Postage Stamp for 40th Edition of Assilah International Cultural Moussem
On June 29, 2018, the Barid Al-Maghrib Group officially issued a postage stamp commemorating the 40 th edition of Assilah’s Moussem Culturel International.
This stamp has a face value of 9 dirhams. Its launch is scheduled for the same day in Al Barid Bank branches, Barid Al-Maghrib mail centers and online via the philatelic portal www.philatelie.ma .
The postage stamp reproduces a work by the Moroccan painter Malika Agueznay, the first woman “master engraver” in Morocco. This one explores the contours of the seaweed and apprehends the tensions of its hypnotic form, both irregular and invasive.
