The recent funeral of Rédha Malek showed Said Bouteflika, adviser to the head of state, with the president of the FACE Ali Haddad and Algerian Prime Minister Abdelmadjid Tebboune in pictures that sparked reactions of all emotions from the public.

The controversy surrounding the pictures stem from the Bouteflika’s and Haddad’s disparity of emotion when compared to Tebboune.

Rapper Lofti DK commented on the photo, saying, “A president absent from this council as he is absent from the life, affairs of the country, and his people, may God take pity on him in his sleep. Tebboune is angry because of the role Said attributed to him. Haddad’s smile indicates that the plan is working.”

Amir Dz., an Algerian, said the majority of individuals who go to funerals of the ruling class do it to have the chance to meet Saidou.
