MARRAKECH – Worldwide readers rated Morocco’s Kasbah Tamadot as Best Resort Hotel for North Africa and the Middle East via Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards 2017, facility owner Virgin Limited Edition announced recently from London.

Nestled in Morocco’s Atlas Mountains, the award-winning luxury hotel near Marrakech is now offering special rates in celebration of the award conferred after reader survey results were tabulated.

“As an extra treat we’re also offering guests booking a stay of three nights or more [between June 1 and Sept. 10 with] an extra night on us,” hotel officials stated.

For bookings, call 0800-716-919 (toll free) or +44(0)208-600-0430; or visit www.virginlimitededition.com.

Kasbah Tamadot is a uniquely appointed hotel, with each of its 28 rooms and suites individually decorated and featuring internationally sourced antiques. Sir Richard Branson purchased the hotel — whose name means ‘soft breeze’ in the Berber language — in 1998 to discover that former owner Luciano Tempo had stored a literal treasure house of artifacts from around the world, now used to furnish its rooms.

The hotel opened for guests starting in 2005, and Virgin Limited Edition implemented community support with free English classes and charitable projects.
