Following a regulatory incident involving the accommodations of pilgrims, the Morocco Ministry of Tourism, Air Transport and Social Economy is looking for the truth in what took place.
The Ministry said there had been tolls situated by travel agencies, but there was a problem when it came to housing the pilgrims from 22 travel agencies. Due to the complication, the Ministry has worked with the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs to ensure pilgrims who still require shelter and aid are able to receive the services required.
In the meantime, an investigation is being held by the Ministry of Tourism to find out who is at fault for the mismanagement.
