Hassan Marmawi has been named the Minister of Tourism in Algeria, an announcement that was made on APS cable.
Masoud bin Akun had been considered a candidate for the position.
In the role of Minister of Tourism, Marmawi will be responsible for recreation and culture — a challenging task given the wide range of tourist attractions that Algeria boasts.
