The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, Sadiq Omar Al Kabir, recently met with Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations and head of the U.N. Support Mission in Libya Ghassan Salama.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the state of Libya and the ways that the country could overcome challenges, including economic collapse and a general lack of security.

In addition to the aforementioned individuals, Assistant Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations Ajani Bhatl and Political Affairs Adviser to the Mission Anwar Dercelli were present.
