The jury of the Asia-Jabbar Grand Prize was organized and announced by the National Press and Publication Agency.
Seven scholars and intellectual individuals were chosen to be a part of it: Najat Khadah, the former president, and Amina Bagat, Abdelmajid Mardasi, Hamid Bouhbeib, Ibrahim Sahroui, Abdelkader Bouzida and Achour Fani.
The prize for a novel was awarded last in 2015. The National Agency for Publication and the National Institute of Print Arts have given the award since 2015 for creative projects in French, Arabic and Amazigh.
