Incorta has hired Wael Fakharany as vice president and general manager of European, Middle Eastern and African operations.

Incorta provides analytics technology for companies and organizations so that they are able to make more calculated and beneficial decisions when it comes to analyzing their data, even when the data is substantial.

“Incorta turns this stunted model on its head. It lets business users immediately access and utilize their data on their own, in a self-service manner, in real-time,” Fakharany said. “I’m excited to recruit and educate partners on this modern analytics platform, which allows them to help clients unleash hidden insights within their data in order to better improve operational performance and differentiate from competitors.”

Fakharany is an international sales executive who will now be responsible for market strategies and operations. He will be tasked with creating the first international channel sales model on the global scale for the company.

Prior to his position with Incorta, Fakharany was with Google in Europe, Middle East and Africa in senior-level positions, as well as with Google X, a semi-secret tech division, where he was the regional lead, as well as various positions with IBM Egypt and Oracle Egypt to name a few.

“Wael possesses exactly the right attitude, energy, and experience to lead our international expansion,” Osama Elkady, CEO and co-founder of Incorta, said.
