According to market research firm GFK, household appliances have been selling very well in Morocco due to the 20.5 percent growth in the telecommunications sector.

The domestic appliances market has increased by 9.4 percent the first half of this year when compared to 2016.
Additionally, household appliances increased in sales to 1.7 billion dirhams, a 1.6 percent rise, while consumer electronics decreased in sales to 1.3 billion dirhams, a 6.6 percent fall.
