Certain prices in the economy of Algeria have been decreasing, which is leading to higher quality of life.

Cattle prices have decreased in the following markets: Blida, Bufariq, Tutha, Bab Ali, Al-Hashta, Al-Shibli, Harrach, Bash Jarrah, Al-Samar and Al-Badmar. The decrease has been between 25,000 to 55,000 dirhams.

Higher supply has led to a natural decrease in prices, and 23 sites have been situated for the direct sale of Eid al-Adha kebash in Algiers, based on the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Fisheries.

In connection with the increases in supply, the veterinary services will be making routine visits and inspections to ensure that standards are being maintained, especially in less-affluent areas.

The national herd is made up of 28 million sheep, 2 million cattle and 5 million goats.

Specific guidelines have been given for the disposal of remains following slaughter.
