CMA CGM group, one of the leading companies in maritime transportation, has created its first logistics storehouse in Lebanon in Bekaa Valley in Taanayel.

The purpose of the new facility is to provide the best personalized logistics solutions for customers who are located in the agricultural, commercial and industrial area of Lebanon.

The new storehouse will be 20,000 meters squared and will fit 1,000 empty containers.

The storehouse is ideally positioned at the crossroads of the coast of Lebanon and Damascus, which is one of the most vital of trade routes in the Middle East.

The location will make the shipments of fruit and vegetables to Jordan, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates a reality. It will also help to create jobs for nearly 200 people.

The general manager of the company said that this new facility will create new chances for them to bring their services to a new client pool.
