According to the Civil Protection Units in Algeria, there have been 14 deaths within 48 hours of Sept. 30, in addition to 11 individuals who were injured in dangerous car accidents.

Five individuals died after two traffic accidents and many more were injured in a collision with a semi-trailer and a car in the Mendes municipality. 

It is expected that the weather conditions in the states of Msela Djelfa Sidi Bel Abbes and Ghardaia were to blame for the death of five individuals in a flood.
