The Central Bank of Libya’s employees came together on Sept. 6 to protest the kidnapping of Al-Mabrouk Al-Rajabani, director of the information technology department at the bank.

The kidnapping, which was completed by an unknown individual or party, is not the first time that one of the employees of the bank has been kidnapped.

In the protest, the employees asked for their colleague to be returned and called upon the appropriate authorities to find and rescue Al-Rajabani.

The employees also voiced their sympathy with the family of the kidnapped man and prayed for his safety and quick release.
