Central Bank of Libya Gov. Siddique Omar Al Kabir recently met with Johannes Han, commissioner of the European Neighborhood Policy; Bettina Mochiat, head of the E.U. Delegation to Libya; and various political individuals.

The meeting’s purpose was to look over the work that is being done by the Central Bank of Libya to bring financial stability to the nation and to resolve the economic crisis that is facing the country.

The meeting ended with the E.U. agreeing to support the Central Bank and the Central Bank, in turn, agreeing to continue fighting against money laundering and terrorist-financing activity.
