Libya has long been working on its national project to bring e-payment standards to citizens.

The e-payment system will be a modern and advanced change to the country which will allow individuals to make payments using nothing more than their smartphones.

The Central Bank of Libya is partnering with Al Madar Al Jadeed Co. to launch the first phase of the project which will allow for mobile transfers of money and bill payment.

Further phases will offer even more options for citizens.
