Following the resignation of Elias Ammari from the position of general secretary of the Party of Authenticity and Modernity, Habib Belkouch has been named a temporary replacement.
The National Council will hold a meeting and press conference Tuesday to discuss the resignation and the details that accompany it.
Though there have been no explanations given by Ammari concerning the resignation, it was a voluntary action and not forced.
