Banque Populaire du Maroc issued the following announcement on Feb. 27.

In partnership with the great engineering schools of the Kingdom, this ambitious and unpublished program is the culmination of a collegial work initiated, as of the beginning of the school year, by several entities of the group.

After a first phase of immersion, in progress until March 1, the student engineers will benefit, within the framework of a paid internship going from three to four months, of a personalized accompaniment provided by the IS experts of the group and will be on this occasion, put to use in the design and implementation of structuring projects.

This major action intends to support the growing needs of the Bank as part of its digital transformation. It also aims, in a resolutely citizen approach, to offer young talents an opportunity to develop and flourish in a Moroccan and pan-African group of reference.

The launch of this operation comes a few days after the final of the Fintech Challenge, the first Open Innovation program of the Banque Populaire Group, at the end of which 6 Start-Up were selected to co-build with the Bank and its subsidiaries innovative solutions that meet to specific customer needs.

These innovative initiatives are part of a strong dynamic, which marks the Banque Populaire Group’s societal commitment to building and sustaining an environment conducive to the development of skills and the creative spirit in Morocco.
