The General Directorate of Customer in Algeria is working on finishing the regulatory provisions for Law No. 17/04, which will amend and supplement Law 79-07 from 1979.

It was previously amended in 1998. 

The Director General of Customs responded to questions from deputies when he met with the Finance and Budget Committee concerning the Finance Act of 2018 which the Customer Department is working on. 

Fifty organizational texts have been formed and 10 of the texts have been finished and sent to authorities while the other 40 are still being completed.
