Secretary General of the Amazigh province Sami Hashemi Assad believes the Amazigh language will help strengthen Algeria and its people.

Assad said the language embodies the social bonds that exist from previous generations and that the language will help build an identity for the people. The language is being promoted via 25 local radio stations and a television channel, with the modes of delivery meant to bring about a better circulation of the language.

University of Abderrahmane Meira Professor Shikhi Mqran applauded Lejaiya for their efforts in bringing the Amazigh language to the internet.
