Algerian officials take steps to protect citizens during disasters

The Ministry of the Interior, Local Communities and Urban Planning in Algeria has issued a statement that all of the measures required have been taken in regards to guaranteeing the safety of individuals, property and the public facilities that would be needing to be secured in order to prevent damages of a large scale, such as disaster management and preparing for weather in the autumn and winter.

The Ministry made it clear that all works required to maintain public resources and any relief work required would be available.

Additionally, there are pre-warning resources available in areas that are prone to flooding.

Through the statements issued by the Ministry, it is hoped that residents in areas that are at risk will rest easy, knowing that the government is watching out for them.
