On Aug. 29, the Algerian Electricity and Gas Distribution Co. announced that normal operations would continue during the holy celebration of Eid al-Adha.
The company stated that in the event of an outage, customers should contact the company. However, operating hours were altered in order to accommodate needs in their 354 commercial agency locations.
On Sept. 3, the agencies will start to be open from Saturday to Wednesday from 8 a.m. to noon and from 1-4:30 p.m. On Thursdays, services will only be open from 8 a.m. to noon.
Customers may go to their local agency locations on Saturdays as well as the remainder of the week to seek out help with energy connection issues and other related concerns.
