Sonatrach issued the following announcement on July 7.
The public oil company (SONATRACH) on Tuesday honored more than 70 of its workers, among the oldest in the group, in Algiers, as part of the celebration of the 58th anniversary of Independence and youth.
As part of the strengthening of the corporate culture, the CEO of SONATRACH, Toufik Hakkar, presided over a ceremony to pay tribute to all the workers of the SONATRACH group “dedicating loyalty, dedication for the years of work within the Group ”.
He said during his speech at the ceremony that this event is about honoring and recognizing the efforts of workers who have spent between 15 and 30 years working for SONATRACH.
"We have also seen the efforts of our workers during this health crisis, they did more than their duty to preserve the production and the achievements of the Algerian Republic," said Mr. Hakkar, recalling that for the National Group, the human factor represents the main resource of the company.
“These are certainly symbolic distinctions but very deserving, because the company attaches the greatest importance to them in order to express all the recognition and respect to our colleagues who have demonstrated flawless abnegation and loyalty in their commitment professional everyone at their level within our company, "said the CEO of SONATRACH.
