On the other hand, the Minister of Communication pointed out that the holding of the current session comes as the presidency of Algeria for the 49th session of the Council has been completed, thanking all those who accompanied their efforts throughout the whole year of hard work in order to promote and upgrade the role of the Arab media according to a joint and ambitious work approach. He pointed to the achievement of many achievements, which will contribute to the creation of a unified and effective Arab media scene within the international media scene, characterized by technological development and fierce competition with the aim of winning the recipient and forming his convictions with the media material to be marketed.
In this context, he highlighted the adoption of the Arab international media plan aimed at countering the unilateral American decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of the Israeli occupation state during the 49 th session.
Saudi Arabia holds the presidency of the 50 th Session of the Council of Arab Information Ministers, after Algeria chaired the previous session, where it has achieved many achievements in the framework of the development of the Arab media strategy in facing the current challenges.
