In order to further strengthen the Alliance and lay the foundations for future success, Jean-Dominique Senard, Hiroto Saikawa, Osamu Masuko and Thierry Bolloré announce their intention to create an Alliance Operational Council between Nissan, Mitsubishi Motors and Renault.
The new Alliance Board will be the Alliance's only oversight body for operations and governance between Renault, Nissan and Mitsubishi, in place of RNBV and NMBV. For this purpose, he will be the face and the first pilot of the "New Start" of the Alliance.

The formal agreements for the creation of this new council will be signed on the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of the Alliance.
The new council plans to meet monthly in Paris or Tokyo and will regularly inform all stakeholders of its main initiatives and achievements.
