In order to further strengthen the Alliance and lay the foundations for future success, Jean-Dominique Senard, Hiroto Saikawa, Osamu Masuko and Thierry Bolloré announce their intention to create an Alliance Operational Council between Nissan, Mitsubishi Motors and Renault.

The new Alliance Board will be the Alliance's only oversight body for operations and governance between Renault, Nissan and Mitsubishi, in place of RNBV and NMBV. For this purpose, he will be the face and the first pilot of the "New Start" of the Alliance.

To lay the foundations for future Alliance developments, the new board will bring together the Renault Chairman, who is also Chairman of the Board, and the CEOs of Nissan, Mitsubishi Motors and Renault.

Operational decisions made by the Alliance Council will be based on consensus, reinforcing the Alliance's "win-win" logic.

The formal agreements for the creation of this new council will be signed on the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of the Alliance.

The new council plans to meet monthly in Paris or Tokyo and will regularly inform all stakeholders of its main initiatives and achievements. The Alliance's operational council will initiate the creation of specific operational committees that will make recommendations on new avenues of value creation between the three car manufacturers.
