Sirte Oil Company issued the following announcement on Aug. 8.

In a gesture of generosity and a good gesture that reflects the depth of the relationship between workers in the oil and gas sector at various levels and develop the originality and sophistication, the company celebrated the production and processing of oil and gas on Monday morning honored the previous management committee after the decision of the National Oil Corporation on the formation of a new committee.

The ceremony was held in the second meeting hall and was attended by Mr. Jadallah Al-Ookli, Chairman of the National Petroleum Corporation in charge, Mr. Naji Ahfaf, Chairman of the Sirte Management Committee, Mr. Abdullah Ashuqi, former Chairman of the Management Committee and Mr. Mohammed Humaidah Awad, former Management Committee Member and members of the Management Committee Mr. Abdul Salam Al Jabri, Sulaiman and Mr. Salah Eileh and a number of Directors General and Directors of departments.

The ceremony was also attended by Major General Naji Al-Mughrabi, head of the Central and Eastern Petroleum Services Guard, and Brigadier General Abdul Salam Bouchiha, the security and protection coordinator.

In his speech, Mr. Naji greeted the audience and expressed his thanks and appreciation to the previous management committee, which carried the secretariat and responsibility and expressed with sincerity and patience and keen to promote it and continue operations despite the difficulties that accompanied the stage.

He called on all parties to cooperate in all aspects and reach the desired goals, which will benefit this institution and achieve the prosperity and development of our dear country.

He praised the role of Sirte company in the sector, noting that it is a giant and academic from the academies of the National Oil Corporation and it is the ring that has maintained the unity of the sector despite the circumstances and difficulties, and urged everyone to join hands to promote them and live their patience and keep them.

In his speech, Mr. Ashwiqi thanked the members of the previous management committee and all the employees of the company for their efforts, dedication and patience in the most difficult circumstances and challenges, reviving the support of the National Oil Corporation in order to face these conditions.

Mr. Hamida Awad considered this honor to be a badge of honor for him and for the Chairman of the Management Committee and his fellow members, pointing out the difficult stage that he has experienced, stressing the role of the Libyan Arab Armed Forces in securing installations and oil fields and imposing the prestige of the State.

For his part, Maj. Gen. Naji al-Maghrabi reassured the audience that the guards of the oil installations is the safe hand on the installations and the oil fields and that it will always be on time and convey the greetings of the Commander-in-Chief of the Libyan Armed Forces, Marshal Khalifa Hafter, his keenness to protect the oil installations and his constant emphasis on the necessity of facilitating the tasks of the sector workers Appropriate security for the conduct of operations.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, I gave thanks and appreciation to the honored people in an atmosphere of optimism for a brighter tomorrow.
