Almost 35,000 Italians of Moroccan origin left their country in 2016 for France, after they earned their Italian citizenship.
Based on the daily "Masa," this number is a large percentage, given that 27 percent of the Italians left the country due to economic challenges facing the country. These Italians of Moroccan origin are at the very forefront of the Italians who left their country for other more prosperous countries.
Moroccan immigrants also are leaving for France as soon as they have gained Italian citizenship, which allows them to settle in another country.
Italy's economic challenges have been well known for about 10 years, and many Italians have returned to their original countries due to their economic challenges.
