CMA CGM Group, one of the biggest companies in container shipping in the world, is making its PAD service available beginning Jan. 4.
The PAD service will create connections between Northern Europe, the East Coast of the U.S., Central America, the Pacific Islands, Australia and New Zealand.
This will be a weekly service which will employ the following rotation of travel:
***Zeebrugge, London Gateway, Rotterdam, Dunkirk, Le Havre
***New York; Savannah, Georgia; Miami
***Cartgena
***Papette, Noumea
***Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne
***Nelson, Napier, Tauranga
***Manzanillo
***Savannah, Georgia
***Philadelphia
***Zeebrugge
The service will provide direct and weekly transport to Papeete and Noumea from Northern Europe and the East Coast of the U.S., offering the service quickly and directly and through solely Reefer service from Oceania to Europe. Additionally, the service will increase the offerings from CMA CGM on Transatlantic service.
Thirteen 20-foot ships will be used on a weekly basis and each will include approximately 600 Reefers for the transportation of refrigerated goods.
