About 350 Abu Dhabi students attended the Department of Education and Knowledge's meeting for the Scholarships and Scholarship Program for 12th grade students, familiarizing themselves with academic guidance services and scholarship programs. 

The meeting was part of a series of annual events by the Department of Guidance and Missions to encourage students to study abroad.

Mohammed Yousuf Bani Yas, executive director of higher education, and Sultana Al Kutbi, director of the Department of Extension and Acting Missions, emphasized the need for scholarships and grants and the participation of the Department of Guidance, the Department of Education, the American embassy, and several American universities.

The student counseling program hopes that it will encourage outstanding students to study in universities outside the UAE and lead to the growth and sustainability of Abu Dhabi. It also strives to introduce students to admission requirements for universities in the U.S., the application process for scholarships, admission criteria, and American visas.
