Algerian Education Minister Nouria Ben Gbrit said Thursday via Facebook and Twitter that the ministry’s is coordinating a national competition to craft a professional examination for four levels.
"The Ministry of National Education will organize an external recruitment competition and a professional examination for promotion in four grades, namely a general practitioner, a clinical psychologist, a main nursing assistant and a nurse with a state certificate, in coordination with the ministries of health and housing, hospital reform, higher education and scientific research," she said.
A source from the ministry indicated that further contest details would be available within the next week.
The Ministry of Education has employed 10,000 teachers in the field of external recruitment and 4,000 administrators in the education sector in 2017. In November 2016, the Ministry of Education upgraded the vocational examination for 45,000 employees.
