Prince Moulay Rachid received the director general of the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, Sarah Bloomfield.
The meeting was also attended by Robert Satloff, executive director of the Washington Institute for Middle East Policy; Ted Santak, director of anti-Semitism programs within the Holocaust Memorial Museum in the U.S.; and Rachid's adviser, Andriy Azoulay.
Bloomfield went with 12 American individuals to Morocco to take part in a practice in discussing spiritual and cultural diversity in the countries.
Bloomfield said the Holocaust Museum desired to honor King Mohammed V for his unwillingness to succumb to racism and his dedication to standing with the Jewish community around the world even in the dark shadow of the Nazis.
The honor will be carried out in Washington, D.C.
