The Choiseul think-tank has created a list of the top 100 young managers and decision-makers under the age of 40 who have played a big part in the economic development of Africa.
The list for 2017 is based on the following criteria: reputation of institution, competencies, influend and network of relations.
Eight of the positions were held by Moroccans and the 15th place was held by the deputy minister of Industry, Trade, Investment and Digital Economy, who has played a huge part in micro-entrepreneurship and integration of sectors that are informal.
Other positions have been filled by real estate leaders, and CEOs of companies. A Nigerian University student and others have been named as well.
