The CR Belouizdad players went on strike last week, just 48 hours after a draw that occurred against JS Saoura. 

The players did not train at the Bensiam Stadium in preparation for a game against Olympique de Medea. 

The reason for the lack of performance is said to be their lack of payment. Chabab's president, Mohamen Bouhafs tried to encourage the players to stop the strike by sharing pictures of him at the bank in Algiers making the monthly payments to the players. 

But when the players went to the location in the pictures, there was nothing there. 

It is still uncertain how long the strike will continue or how many matches the team will skip.
