The drilling manager of Arabian Gulf Oil Co., Boubaker bin Amer, explained drilling operations in Libya's field are now back to operational state after they were paused for a period of 2.5 years due to the poor security from March 2015 on.
The company has fields throughout LIbya and the Sirte basin.
Drilling should be starting soon with maintenance excavators that will be communicating with the drilling company to ensure that all of the operations are ready. Bin Amer said drilling would require maintaining production and productivity in order to keep the fields profitable.
The sustainable development program is being completed by the Arabian Gulf Oil Co. and the National Oil Corp.
