According to the French Interior Minister Gerard Colom, this month's attack in Marseilles could possibly be an act of terrorism.
"We can not yet describe the attack categorically as a terrorist, and it is more useful to wait for the preliminary results of the investigations," Colom said. Additionally, the minister said that there was an investigation underway to look into what the details of the attack were and what the motivation was.
Two women lost their lives in the attack.
It is thought that the organization that committed the crime did so in order to target coalition cities in France.
