According to a report published on Sept. 21, there were 24 deaths and 80 injuries across six car accidents, based on a Directorate General of Civil Protection report in Algeria.
The worst of the accidents was in the state of Adrar in which 17 individuals were killed, which included the deaths of 11 African nationals, and five injuries, four to African nationals.
Civil protection units were deployed at the time of the accident both for the traffic accidents, as well as home accidents and other issues of the utmost importance.
The individuals who were hurt in the accident in Adrar were taken to Reqan Hospital.
