The oil field located in Hassi-Massaoud will begin to produce gas once again after two months. 

The capacity for production of 10 million cubic meters daily. Abdelmoumen Ould Kaddour of Sonatrach said this project is of the utmost importance in regards to bringing back the level of production expected from the field in a time that is challenging for oil production.

OPEC agreement terms are a limitation on the field, but the company still has a plan in place to produce minimal sales but maintain enough to export. Currently, the speed of work on the field is not fast enough to begin production, but Kaddour is encouraging the workers to be able to meet the original deadline of October.

Kaddour is pleased with the workers and resources that are present at the headquarters and is hoping that more branches and labs can be opened.
