The National People's Assembly will be presented with the Algerian government's recognition for furthering a pluralistic democracy and increased modernization.
Algeria has been working hard to bring about a better democracy in its government and also make its government more modern, both decisions that were made partly possibly by the constitutional review which took place in February 2016.
Algeria's government is seeking to continue on the path of modernization and improvement through promoting justice reform, access to information and freedom, pluralistic democracy and human rights. Elections to be held Nov. 23 are designed to bring about new leadership in a transparent way.
It is the goal of the Algerian government to treat every violation of human rights as a serious offense and try to bring society into agreement about human rights. The government will be decentralizing itself in the hopes of bringing local authorities to a place of leadership and downsizing the control of the larger governmental bodies.
