Algeria's national security force has teamed with club presidents, supportive committee members and media members to eliminate violence in football stadiums.
Although the operation has not been perfect so far, there are certainly steps being taken toward a future in which there is fair playing of the game, as well as characteristics such as good sportsmanship, respect and camaraderie.
A meeting to discuss the efforts was held Sept. 4 in the Algiers Central Police Station with Hamid Zouba, Faycal Bensemra and Kamel Kaci-Said in attendance, in addition to members of the press.
Gifts were given to the honored guests at the meeting.
