In a meeting that took place Aug. 28 at National Oil Corp. (NOC) headquarters in Tripoli, the Exploration Department and Waha Oil Co. discussed the activity of this year and exploration programs that are slated for 2018.

In attendance for the meeting were Bashir Garea, manager of the Exploration Department at NOC; Mahmoud Shbeek, manager of the Exploration Department at Waha Oil Co.; and a number of superintendents, engineers and specialists. 

On behalf of the foreign partner, the meeting was attended by Bashir Bezeizi, vice general manager of Marathon Oil Corp.; Abdallah Alyaziji, vice general manager of Hess Oil Corp.; and Es-sadeq Nashnoush, vice general manager of ConocoPhillips E&P Co.

The G&G studies of Blocks and Concessions related to the company were discussed.
