Algerian national soccer coach Lucas Alcaraz said during a recent press conference that he is extremely confident that his team will win against Zambia in qualifying for the World Cup 2018.
"The team has the means to win," Alcaraz said. "The group is aware of the responsibility and the task that awaits it."
Alcaraz isn't waiting until 2018 to provide his predictions for his team during the huge event. The coach said during the Sidi Moussa's National Technical Center meeting that his team is already prepared to win.
"The qualification in the World Cup is in itself a sufficient motivation," Alcaraz said. "The group is aware of the responsibility and the task that awaits it."
Alcaraz said he already has strategies for the World Cup showdown that will prove to be victorious, if his players are as competent as possible. He said the team will have to win the first two games against Zambia; he will "use the maximum amount of players"; and the team will need to play in major solidarity.
"We have to play it all together," Alcaraz said. "Defend together and attack together. The individual must put himself at the service of the collective."
The match between Algeria and Zambia will be in Luska on Sep. 14.
