National Oil Corp. (NOC) Chairman of the Board Mustafa Sanalla visited the Al Feel oil field on Aug. 16 where he met with Abu Baker Al Fegi, head of the Social Council of Tuareg Tribes, and Ibrahim Makhi, head of Al Awaynat Elders Council.

Additionally, Abulgasem Shingheer, a member of the board of directors; Khaled Bukhatwa, general manager of Safety & Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development Department; and Abdelmajeed Esh-sheh, chairman of the Management Committee of the Operator Akakus Oil Operations were in attendance. 

The Tuareg communities in the area expressed appreciation for the efforts that the NOC has made to not only sustain but also increase production, though certain services still are required in the area. 

Sanalla said the NOC thought of local resident as partners in oil operations, seeking to maintain good relations with them.
