Algerian Foreign Minister Abdul Qader Massahel was in contact with his Iraqi counterpart, Ibrahim al-Jaafaria last week.
The meeting was an opportunity for the two minister to discuss their bilateral relationship and to explore methods of improving the countries' relations.
There was also talk of regional and international concerns that the two countries share, and the two leaders agreed that conversation and reconciliation between countries must be at the forefront of operations when it comes to settling conflicts. Messahel spoke on the Algerian issues.
Additionally, the ministers spoke on reforming the Arab Organization so that it would be more applicable to challenges that are currently affecting the Arab nation.
