Libya's Gas Transport and Supply Department, the Eastern Region Operations Control and officials from the Benghazi Cement Factory met Aug. 6 in Benghazi City to discuss arrangements and strategies for operations.

In addition, the group sought solutions to simplify challenges facing the Libyan cement company, as well as ways to make the company more readily able to pump gas at the factory.

Younis Al-Houti said there were technical steps for the plant to have natural gas supplied as well as for meeting safety precautions, as natural gas supply has been a challenge to secure in the past for the plant.
