Minister of Energy Mustapha Guitouni and Abdelkader Zoukh, the wali of Algiers, visited the wilaya of Algiers on July 19 to inaugurate electricity and gas projects focused on increasing the power supply and stabilizing its capabilities in the capital.

The program for the visit included the inauguration of 60/30 kV substation of Bordi El Kiffan, inauguration of HT 60/30 kV substation in New Town of Sidi Abdellah, inauguration of Staveli's HT 60/30 kV electrical substation, inauguration of Ain Benia HT 220/60 kV electrical substation, and a launch to improve natural gas supply to Aim Benien.

Accompanying Guitouni and Zoukh was a ministerial delegation.
