Boeing has won a $294 million airplane order from Algeria's Tassili Airlines, as announced by Algerian state media.
This business agreement will put the Chicago-based company into direct competition with Airbus, its European competitor.
Tassili's order is for three 737-800 airplanes.
Boeing's stock increase by 30 percent this year, according to CNN Money, puts it in a prime position to be the best-performing on the Dow Jones Industrial Average. The company's shares closed Tuesday at $208.24.
